On March 7, 2014, the second Caspian Corridor Conference was held at the London Stock Exchange, bringing together government officials, business leaders, academics, and media representatives from across the Caspian region and the UK. The event was organized by the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG), the International Bank of Azerbaijan (IBA), the British-Azerbaijani Business Council (BABC), and Asia House. The management and representatives of the AzMeCo Group of Companies were among the key participants.
The Caspian Corridor Conference is a prominent platform for exploring economic trends, investment opportunities, and cooperation between the UK and the countries of the Caspian region—including Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan. Following the success of the inaugural event in 2012, the second conference expanded its scope and impact, focusing on growth factors and strategies to overcome regional development challenges.
As part of the conference’s cultural program, AzMeCo’s cultural and creative division—The Buta Arts Centre—organized a grand concert of Azerbaijani classical music at London’s historic Central Hall Westminster. The concert, supported by the International Bank of Azerbaijan, BABC, and the Embassy of Azerbaijan in the UK, featured the London Royal Philharmonic Orchestra conducted by People's Artist of Azerbaijan, Yalchin Adygezalov.
Buta Arts Centre also contributed to the event’s branding and experience design, developing the visual identity, stage decoration, and a specially curated Azerbaijani menu for conference participants.
