AzMeCo Supports International "CCE 2013" Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Conference
The First International Chemistry and Chemical Engineering Conference (CCE 2013) was successfully held in Baku, dedicated to the 90th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev. The official opening ceremony took place at the Gulustan Palace, marking the beginning of a five-day event that brought together leading experts, researchers, and industry professionals in the field of chemistry and chemical engineering.

AzMeCo, Azerbaijan’s leading private petrochemical company and operator of the region’s first methanol plant, proudly served as the Gold Sponsor of the conference. This support aligns with AzMeCo’s ongoing commitment to advancing scientific education and fostering international collaboration in chemical research and innovation.

The event, held from April 17–21, 2013, was organized with the support of the Ministry of Education and the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), in partnership with Caucasus University, Azerbaijan State Oil Academy, Baku State University, Baku branch of Moscow State University, and other leading academic institutions.
CCE 2013 served as an international platform for dialogue and knowledge exchange among chemists, chemical engineers, and researchers from both academic and industrial backgrounds. A series of lectures and academic sessions were held at various institutions, including Caucasus University, Baku State University, and the Azerbaijan State Oil Academy.

The conference drew participation from experts and scholars from around the world, including the USA, Canada, Turkey, Russia, Norway, Switzerland, the UK, Germany, Georgia, and others. Topics ranged across a wide spectrum of chemical sciences, with a focus on innovation, sustainability, and the future of the petrochemical industry.
