On July 13, 2012, Mr. Matthew Bryza, Member of the Board of Directors of AzMeCo, visited the Garadagh methanol plant to review the progress of construction and development works.

During the visit, Mr. Bryza was briefed on the ongoing construction and repair activities, and toured key sections of the facility. He commended the scale and ambition of the project, describing it as one of the most significant industrial developments in Azerbaijan.

Mr. Bryza emphasized that the methanol plant will play a crucial role in supporting the country’s sustainable economic development, by contributing to industrial diversification and boosting the petrochemical sector.
