SOCAR Representatives Visit AzMeCo Methanol Plant
On June 23, 2012, a delegation from the State Oil Company of the Republic of Azerbaijan (SOCAR), led by Mr. David Mammadov, Vice-President for Refining, visited the AzMeCo methanol plant located in the Garadagh district of Baku.
During the visit, the SOCAR representatives were introduced to the ongoing construction works and technological innovations being implemented at the plant. The guests expressed appreciation for the scale and ambition of the project and wished AzMeCo continued success in its future operations.
The visit underscores the growing cooperation and mutual support between Azerbaijan’s leading state and private sector players in the country’s evolving energy and petrochemical industry.
